U 10s Win Division 2 Final
The U 10s took on Carrickcruppen last Saturday in Whitecross in the Division 2 final and brought the honours home to Fords Cross. The game was a close contest from the very start but the lads gave a brilliant performance to take the lead and steadfastly refused to relinquish it. They played as a team, all proud to wear the Bridge jersey, and everyone gave a good account of themselves, but the backs were outstanding and withstood the Carrickcruppen pressure admirably. At half time they lead 1-3 to 0-3 and at the final whistle they still had two points to spare. Final score 2-9 to 2-7.Team: Cormac McKinley, Cathal McKeown, Paddy Reel, Peter Reel, Kieran Mulholland, Paul Hearty, Paul McKeever, Eoin Burns, Bryan Murphy, Aodhan Quinn, Fiannan Burns, Padraig Keating, Aaron Grant, Bernard Garvey and Gary Reel (Captain).
