The U 16 will be presented with their medals this Friday night in the clubrooms. All the players with their families and friends are invited to attend. Proceedings get under way at 8 pm sharp when a prominent GAA personality will present the medals.Michael Donnelly Cup
The tournament for the Michael Donnelly Cup will be played next Sunday 11th September at 10 30 am in the field. This annual competition is played among the U 10 and U 12 age groups and all these players are asked to attend on Sunday.Ladies Football
Cashel minors defeated Cross in a play-off for second place in the South Armagh minor league, and now play Clann Eireann in the county semi-final. The Mullaghbawn midfield pairing of Leona Quinn and Niamh Murphy gave Cashel an edge in this area, with Adrienne Hoey and Roisin Murphy excelling in defence. Anita Quinn was top scorer ably supported by Dara Collins.The senior girls travelled to Lurgan on Saturday evening to play St Peters in Division 3. Unfortunately, St Peters were in top form and ran out easy winners despite good performances from Kiera McKinley, Laura Murphy and Dara Collins.
The U 14s travel to Clady to play their final league match on Monday evening.

Last week the winning numbers were 16, 17, 18 and 27. The jackpot did not go but there were four match three winners, three of whom won £50 while the last winner got €75. The jackpot will be £14,200 or €21,300 for this week’s draw.Resource Centre Committee
There will be an important meeting of the Resource Centre Committee on Wednesday night 7th September (tomorrow) at 9 pm to which all committee members are required to attend.Weekend Entertainment
Friday 9th September: Traditional Music Session as usual in the “Wee Bar”. The cheque will be presented to the M.S. society will be presented on this night.Saturday 10th September: Poker Classic in aid of Newry Hospice, a very worthy cause to which to which all card players are most welcome.
