Senior Team

Silverbridge played their second Ulster League match against Doohamlet on Tuesday night at Keeley Park. Silverbridge was slow to start and conceded a goal and three points inside the opening ten minutes. Although Silverbridge pulled three points back Doohamlet led at the break by 2-7 to 0-3.  A much improved second half performance saw some well taken scores from the home team, but time ran out and at the end Silverbridge lost on a score line of 2-11 to 2-9. Good performances on the night from N Reel, P McCreesh, E Byrne.

Silverbridge V Dromore

On Sunday Silverbridge entertained Dromore in the Ulster League at Keeley Park. Dromore opened the score with a fifth minute goal. Silverbridge replied with points from Brendan Byrnes and Rory Griffin, Dromore pulled two points clear but a Ryan Hamill point in the 13 minute reduced the deficit to one. However this was the home side last score of the half as Dromore finished the half strong leaving the half time score 1-6 to 0-3. Silverbridge started the second half well and points from C McAvoy and L Campbell followed by a R Griffin goal, left only a point in it after 7 minutes of the restart. Although Silverbridge had plenty of possession they could not find an equaliser and Dromore went four points ahead again. Points from R Griffin, B Byrnes and R Hamill brought the teams closer together but in the end Dromore held out for a win 1-11to 1-8. Good performances from P McCreesh B Bellew S Murphy.
