Silverbridge Notes 28th February 2008

Seniors

Silverbridge entertained Clonduff on Friday night under lights in Keeley Park. Silverbridge got off to a great start and were two point up after five minutes. Clonduff scored a goal and a point before Eugene and Brendan Burns came back and scored three points. Another score from Cormac left the half time scores 0-6 to 1-1. Silverbridge turned around and produced a very lack lustre second half performance. Whether this was down to having replaced five players through injury during the match or was it just the case of lack of desire to win, we just don’t know. A much improved display of the basic skills will be required as the season progresses if results are to come our way. Final score of the match was Clonduff 3-10 to 0-11. Team: B.Cumiskey C.Quinn P.McCreesh P.Reel C.Hughes N.Reel B.Bellow C.McAvoy R.Hamill B.Byrne L.Campbell P.Cumiskey E.Byrne H.Daly R.Grifen. subs used: N.Traynor G.McGarvey V.Mackin S.Murphy R.Murchan.
