Senior Team
The Senior Team hosted their first league match against St Michaels on Sunday at Keeley Park in bitterly cold blusterly conditions which were difficult for both teams to perform. Liam Campbell registered the first two scores before St Michaels came back and scored to fine points. A Campbell free put the bridge ahead in the 20 minute but St Michaels came back down the field and registered another score. A good save from Brendan Cumiskey resulted in a forty five for St Michaels leaving the half time score 4-3. St Michaels went two points ahead in the second half before a bridge free narrowed the defecated to a point. St Michaels went on to score two more points but points from G McGarvey and D McCann wasn’t enough to seal victory for the bridge. This was a very below par performance all round and great improvement will be needed if we are to be in the shake up for promotion at the tale end of the season. Next weeks fixture is Keady away on Sat 12th April check press for time.
