Silverbridge Notes 21st January 2008

E-mail Print
A great crowd turned out last Tuesday night for the mass of all our deceased members. Father King welcomed everyone to the new social club and members who lost a loved one during the year carried a candle up and placed it on the alter Kieran Murphy our chairman also carried up a candle for all our deceased members. Members of our under aged teams and our senior teams said readings, bidden prayers and carried up the gifts. This was a very special way to begin our new season and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Father King for a lovely mass, to Cormac Burns for providing the music and also to the ladies who helped out on the night.
