Silverbridge Notes 11th February 2008

E-mail Print

Once again in the mater of a few short weeks our club was plunged into sadness with the death of another true Gael, Kathleen Traynor, wife of our president Pat. Kathleen had been a life long member of our club and a very valued member during that time. To her husband Pat, sons Martin, Brain, Paul, Gerard and Francis, daughters Patricia and Catherine and entire family circle we offer our heartfelt sympathy.
Social club
Friday 15th Feb sees the official opening of our newly refurbished football club. This is also a chance to take your loved one out for Valentines and enjoy music from the Merry Macs. Roses and spot prizes on the night.

Peter Keeley Quiz

Great turn out last week for the annual Peter Keeley quiz. Congratulations to Tir Na Og for retaining their title and also to Forkhill for runners up. A special word of thanks to all the clubs who participated. Great credit must go to our quiz mater Micksey Toal for compiling a good quiz and also for sponsoring the prizes on the night.
