Lotto Win
The news of the week is that Brian Cunningham from Belleeks was the lucky winner of our Lotto last Monday night and on Wednesday he was presented with a cheque for £13,400. The winning combination was 1, 8, 10 and 24. Twenty three others were almost there too by matching three numbers; nineteen won £10 and four won €15. The jackpot recommences at £10,000 or €15,000 for this week’s draw.
Rule 42
A special meeting has been arranged for this Thursday night 31st March at 9 pm in the clubrooms to discuss Rule 42. All club members are requested to attend to discuss the proposed changes to this rule and to take a decision on whether we wish to see those changes come about. There has been much speculation in the media and talk among members since the rule change was first mentioned. Now it is important that every member of the GAA let his/her opinion be known as, at the end of the day, only they can say yes or no to the change.
U 14
The U14s are the first of our teams to get going in the League. On Tuesday night (tonight) they play Crossmaglen in Cross at 6 45 pm.
U 10
Coaching for the U10s begins on Sunday 3rd April for players up to age 10. Registration for these players will also commence at this session. Parents are asked to stay for this session as there are forms which they must complete and information leaflets for their perusal.
Ladies Football
On Saturday 2nd April the Senior ladies have their first league match away to Clady.
Foundation Coaching Course
This course starts next Monday night 4th April at 7 pm in the Resource centre. There are two places left so if you’re still interested contact Anthony Mallie on 30 861 257.
Social Club
The monthly senior citizens party will be held on Friday night in the clubrooms.
Ladies Fun Hour
The ladies continue with a light-hearted effort at various sports on Thursday night at 8 pm. Come along on the night and see what they are about.
Youth Club
The Youth Club will reopen next Tuesday night 5th April at 7 pm for the girls.
