Hallowe’en Tramps Ball

The fancy dress ball was a tremendous success on Friday night last. This event is as popular now as it was in times past and Friday night proved Silverbridge is the venue for Hollowe’en. Those who came to admire the costumes and try to guess the person behind the masks and the many, many who dressed up all agreed it was a night to remember. Congratulation to all who took part and provided the adjudicators with the daunting task of picking winners. After much deliberation they finally decided

The annual Dinner dance takes place this year in the Carrickdale on Friday 11th November. Tickets costing £25 or €35 may be purchased from any committee member. This year our special guests will be our League-winning U 16 team and some members of the victorious Armagh Ladies will make a guest appearance bringing with them the West County Hotel cup.

Weekend Entertainment

Friday Night:  Wee Bar: Usual traditional musi
Clubrooms:  Senior Citizens Party.
Resource Centre: “History of the Troubles according to Martin Lynch”. This hilarious one man play by Martin Lynch has been receiving great reviews. Tickets are available in the Resource centre or pay at the door.

Youth Club

For the next few weeks we will not be having activities on Friday nights due to the play in the Resource centre and the annual Dinner Dance. Tuesdays and Wednesdays will continue as usual however. On Tuesday 8th November the girls are going bowling in Dundalk and on Friday 18th the junior boys are off to the J J B dome, also in Dundalk. These trips are for members only.
