Seniors

There was no action for the senior team last week but they travel to Mullaghbawn on Saturday next for their league semi-final game with Killeavy that is fixed for a 2 pm throw-in with extra time if necessary.

Underage Presentation

The presentation of medals and awards to the U 12, U 10 and U 8 teams will take place on Sunday next at 3-30 pm in the clubrooms, and family and friends of the young players are invited to attend.

U 14

The U 14 team reached the final of the Burns/Moley Tournament last weekend, beating teams from Mullaghbawn, Belleeks and Naomh Malachi on the way but succumbed to a stronger Forkhill side. Although disappointed in the end the lads had a great time and played some good football.

Lotto

Last week’s numbers were 6, 15, 24 and 29. Although the jackpot was not won there were seven match three winners. There will be £10,600 or €15,900 in the pot for this week’s draw.

Weekend Entertainment

Friday:  Usual traditional music session.
Saturday:  Quinno in the Wee Bar
Poker Classic in the Clubrooms from 9 pm.

Dinner Dance

Tickets are now on sale from any committee member for this year’s Dinner Dance and presentation night, which will be held in the Park Inn Hotel, Carnbeg, on Friday 24th November.

Car Draw

The draw for
(1) Silver Metallic Mercedes C220CDI Avantgarde Saloon Auto.
(2) Shopping Trip to New York with spending money
(3) Trip to Edinburgh with spending money and
Sellers’ prizes sponsored by O’Malley’s of Newtownhamilton,
will be made at the dinner dance. Tickets for the draw are still available from any committee member.

Resource Centre

The resource centre committee will meet at 9 pm on Wednesday night.

Silverbridge Badminton Club

The Silverbridge Badminton club is held every Wednesday night in the Resource centre from 9 to 11 pm at a weekly cost of £4 or €6. No experience is necessary and racquets can be provided.
In addition to this the Juvenile club, for ages 8 to 15, runs each Saturday between 3 and 4-30 pm. Membership is £5 or €7.50 with a weekly subscription of £2 or €3.

Teresa’s Dance Classes

Teresa’s dance classes continue on Monday nights with 8 to 11 year olds on from 7 to 8 pm and 12 to 16 year olds from 8 to 9 pm.

Circuit Training

This year’s classes run each Monday and Thursday night from 7 to 8 pm or from 8 to 9 pm. Further details may be had from Eamon on 30 868 988.

Tai Chi for Beginners

A 7-week course continues on Thursday night from 8 to 9-30 pm. Contact Ciaran Carr on 30262123 for all details.

Youth Club

The youth club will be on as usual this week.
