Everything has slowed down on the football front with just the Senior and U 21 teams in training at the moment. Please keep an eye on the fixtures published in this paper to find out when the next games will be played

Christmas Fayre

The annual Christmas Fayre was held last Friday night and once again was very successful. At the raffle held on the night we had the following winners:
1st Prize---Television won by Rita O’Hanlon.
2nd Prize---Christmas Hamper went to Barry Begley Tullydonnell.
3rd Prize---Case of Wine—Rosemary Garvey.
4th Prize---€50---Jim Loye New Road.
5th Prize--- Santa Claus----Kitty martin c/o Short’s Sports.
6th Prize---Turkey Voucher---Ignatius McCann
7th Prize---Tin Roses---Susan Cunningham Culloville Road.
8th Prize---Tin Quality Street---Damian McCann.
9th Prize--- Toy Dump Truck---John Rowland.

Lotto

Last week’s numbers were 4, 8, 9 and 23. There were fifteen match three winners but the jackpot was not won and rises to £11,400 or  €17,100 for this week’s draw.

Meetings

The Executive Committee will meet on Tuesday night in the clubrooms.

Resource Centre

Jimmy Buckley

Please note that the Jimmy Buckley night that had been arranged for 15th December has been postponed.

Silverbridge Badminton Club

The Silverbridge Badminton club is held every Wednesday night in the Resource centre from 9 to 11 pm at a weekly cost of £4 or €6. No experience is necessary and racquets can be provided.
In addition to this the Juvenile club, for ages 8 to 15, runs each Saturday between 3 and 4-30 pm. Membership is £5 or €7.50 with a weekly subscription of £2 or €3.

Teresa’s Dance Classes

Teresa’s dance classes continue on Monday nights with 8 to 11 year olds on from 7 to 8 pm and 12 to 16 year olds from 8 to 9 pm.

Circuit Training

This year’s classes run each Monday and Thursday night from 7 to 8 pm or from 8 to 9 pm. Further details may be had from Eamon on 30 868 988.

Tracey’s Dance Aerobics

Tracey’s dance aerobics classes are held every Monday and Wednesday night from 8 to 9 pm.

Youth Club

The youth club will be on as usual on Tuesday and Wednesday night. On Friday night we are having a disco for members and their friends from 8 to 11 pm. Admission is £3 or €5.

Speedy Recovery

We send our prayers and wishes for a speedy and full recovery to our U 21 player Liam Collins who was injured in a road traffic accident last week.
