With the leagues fast approaching all the teams are in serious training with challenge matches to test their progress.

B Team

The B team’s first outing in this year’s league has been fixed for next Sunday 1st April, with Mullaghbawn providing the opposition.  Please check the press for throw-in time.

Ladies Football

The senior ladies have their first league match on Saturday next 31st March when they take on the Dorsey Emmets girls in Dorsey.
Training continues for the U14 and U16 ladies on Monday evening from 5-50 pm to 7 pm in the resource centre. The U 12 girls are asked to note that their training continues this Monday at 6 pm and on Saturday at 1 pm.

Lotto

Last week’s winning numbers were 3, 26, 28 and 29. One person almost scooped the jackpot by matching three of the numbers. The jackpot now rises to £14,400 or €21,600 for this week’s draw.

Meetings

The Executive committee will meet at 9-30 pm this Tuesday 27th in the clubrooms.

Weekend Entertainment

Friday:  Usual traditional music session
Saturday:  Satellite poker game for tickets to Cooley Kickhams grand poker classic.

Courtesy Taxi Service

A courtesy taxi service is available to and from the clubrooms on Friday and Saturday nights from 8-30 pm to 1-30 am. Tel. 028 30861 128.

Resource Centre

Circuit Training

The circuit training will run from 7 to 8 and from 8 to 9 pm each Monday and Thursday night. Further information may be had from Eamon McCann on 30868 988.

Teresa’s Dance Classes

Teresa’s dance classes continue on Monday nights with 8 to 11 year olds on from 7 to 8 pm and 12 to 16 year olds from 8 to 9 pm.

Tracey’s Dance Aerobics

Tracey’s dance aerobics classes are held every Monday and Wednesday night from 8 to 9 pm.

Yoga

The yoga classes are on each Tuesday night from 7-30 pm.

Silverbridge Badminton Club

The Silverbridge Badminton club is held every Wednesday night in the Resource centre from 9 to 11 pm at a weekly cost of £4 or €6. No experience is necessary and racquets can be provided.
In addition to this the Juvenile club, for ages 8 to 15, runs each Saturday between 3 and 4-30 pm. Membership is £5 or €7.50 with a weekly subscription of £2 or €3.

Youth Club

The youth club will be on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights as usual this week.
The senior boys who are organising the football tournament must attend the club on Wednesday night to get arrangements under way.

Youth Health Fair Thursday 29th March

All young people aged 13 to 25 years from Silverbridge and the surrounding areas are invited to come along to the Resource centre between 7 and 9 pm this Thursday 29th March and get information and advice on a wide variety of issues such as stress and anxiety, beauty therapy, holistic therapy, smoking cessation, physical activity, drug and alcohol abuse, healthy eating, health and lifestyle choices and lots more.
