The Leagues have all been arranged and fixtures set so there will be plenty of football for everyone from this week on.

Seniors

The seniors will play their first competitive game of the season next Sunday in Keeley Park when they host Clann Éireann in the league. Please check the press for the throw-in time.

B Team

The B’s travel to Dromintee on Wednesday night for this week’s league match.

Minors

League action will commence for the minors on Monday night next 16th April when they host Dromintee.

U 16

The U 16s play away to Carrickcruppen on Thursday night 12th April.

U 14

The U 14s have their second league game this Tuesday night 10th April away to Culloville.

U 12

The U 12s are away to Culloville next Saturday afternoon.

U 10

The U 10s see action next Sunday when they are at home to Mullaghbawn.

5 to 8 year olds

Training for the U 6 and U 8 boys and girls begins next Sunday at 11 am.

Ladies Football

The U 14 girls had their first outing last Monday night when they lost in a high-scoring game away to Dromintee.
Laura McShane was a strong influence at midfield; with Sara Finnegan and Gráinne Garvey also playing well. A number of U 12 players, including Aoife Moley, Ciara Buckley and Beth Carragher, had their first competitive match and gave a good account of themselves.
Their next game is a home match against Forkhill on Monday 16th April at 7 pm.
The U 16s are away to Derrynoose this Monday 9th April at 7 pm and the U 12s travel to Derrynoose on Thursday night for their match at 7 pm.
The seniors have home advantage for their encounter with Forkhill on Saturday 14th April at 7 pm.
Fixtures and training schedules
All managers within the club are reminded to consult with Sean McKeown and his field plan to ensure that fixtures and training etc have adequate space.

Lotto

Last week’s winning numbers were 2, 8, 11 and 12. The jackpot was not won but there were fifteen match three winners. The jackpot will be £14,800 or €22,200 for this week’s draw.

Weekend Entertainment

Friday:  Senior Citizens and Special Needs party.
Usual traditional music session.

Courtesy Taxi Service

A courtesy taxi service is available to and from the clubrooms on Friday and Saturday nights from 8-30 pm to 1-30 am. Tel. 028 30861 128.

Sponsored Walk and Family Fun Day

Bank Holiday Monday 7th May is the date for our annual sponsored walk and family fun day. Sponsor cards are now available from any committee member.

Resource Centre

Circuit Training

The circuit training will run from 7 to 8 and from 8 to 9 pm each Monday and Thursday night. Further information may be had from Eamon McCann on 30868 988.

Teresa’s Dance Classes

Teresa’s dance classes continue on Monday nights with 8 to 11 year olds on from 7 to 8 pm and 12 to 16 year olds from 8 to 9 pm.

Tracey’s Dance Aerobics

Tracey’s dance aerobics classes are held every Monday and Wednesday night from 8 to 9 pm.

Yoga

The yoga classes are on each Tuesday night from 7-30 pm.

Silverbridge Badminton Club

The Silverbridge Badminton club is held every Wednesday night in the Resource centre from 9 to 11 pm at a weekly cost of £4 or €6. No experience is necessary and racquets can be provided.
In addition to this the Juvenile club, for ages 8 to 15, runs each Saturday between 3 and 4-30 pm. Membership is £5 or €7.50 with a weekly subscription of £2 or €3.
