Seniors Silverbridge Harps 2-11 St Peters 2-6
The Senior team was in Lurgan again on Sunday and continued on their winning ways there. They played into the wind in the first half but had a two-goal lead by half-time. Damian McCann set the Bridge on their way with a point when he took a well worked pass after Seamus Martin tackled strongly to turn the ball around. The Lurgan men piled on the pressure too and Miceal Reel worked hard to deny them a goal opportunity saving their first shot and the rebound. Aidan Hearty and Liam Campbell combined for another Bridge point and Cormac McAvoy pointed to even matters. Then Liam Campbell position himself perfectly to take a pass from Eugene Byrne and the Bridge had a goal! Once again the home team went up the field at pace and Miceal Reel and Peter McCreesh combined to defend the goalmouth. As the half drew to a close the Bridge was awarded a penalty that Damian McCann duly converted.St Peters started the second half at a blistering pace and got the opening point and soon bit further into the Bridge lead with a goal. This spurred the Bridge into action and they scored three points, but the Lurgan men did not make it easy for them and they got another goal to put just two between the sides. The Bridge lads kept working away and picked off the scores to win well. This was a good team effort with everyone including the subs supported each other and played their part. Niall Reel had a terrific work rate and led the defenders to withstand the Peters pressure, while the midfielders made the best of the breaking ball and the forwards got some nice scores.

The B Team hosted Whitecross on Wednesday night and after a high-scoring game came away with the points. The game was a tightly contested affair but the Bridge always had the upper hand. They went in at the break with a 1-7 to 1-2 lead and continued in this vein when play resumed. Whitecross did find the back of the net twice in the second half but the Bridge responded in kind and ran out clear winners. Minors
The minors had their first league match of the season against Killeavy last Monday night and lost by two points. They gave a good all-round team performance and lost the game only in the final few minutes. Thomas McKenna and Rory Griffin had a great game and were well supported by Paul Hughes and substitute Dean Martin.Tonight (Monday) the lads are away to Oliver Plunketts in Mullaghbawn.
U 16
The U 16s put on a vastly improved performance on Thursday night against Shane O’Neills. The match was a close one throughout and the teams went in level at the break. A Shanes’ goal early in the second half gave them a lead that they clung on to for the rest of the game and at the end the goal was the difference. This was a good team effort with Neill McCann, Ciaran Donaghy and Peter Carragher performing well. The team travels to Dromintee for this Thursday night’s game.
U 14
The U14 Boys had a drawn match with Mullaghbawn on Tuesday night last; this was a very exciting game with both teams enjoying lots of chances and possession. Silverbridge started the match much stronger and built up a convincing lead through goals from Seamus Kelly, Darren Rowland and Padraig Moley. Mullaghbawn fought back into the match and dominated the second half, with Silverbridge struggling to get going and obtain the scores. A draw however was a fair result on the night with Silverbridge happy to return home with a point. There were good performances on the night from Darren Murphy & Martin Hearty.U 12
The U 12s had a good win away to Shane O’Neills on Saturday. Goals from Joe Rocks, Sean Óg McShane and Aodhan Quinn set them on their way. Eoin Burns worked hard in the middle of the field, and a defence marshalled by Ciaran Mulholland, Sean Garvey, James McKeown and Paddy Reel never looked in danger. Training will be at 6-30 pm sharp on Tuesday evening. On Saturday the team play Dromintee in the Bridge.

Killeavy provided the opposition for the U 12 girls on Friday night and took the points. Our young team played their hearts out, battling to the very end and refusing to give up until the final whistle.
