Seniors

The seniors were away to Keady on Thursday night and after a great team performance in a tough, hard-hitting game came away with the points.
Keady were first out of the blocks and led for the first fifteen minutes, but then Brendan Byrne got the first point for the Bridge and by half time we were 0-9 to 0-6 up.
The Bridge scored first in the second half but then Keady hit a purple patch, scoring 1-2 to bring the teams within a point with fifteen minutes to go. The Bridge got into gear again and with six unanswered points the game was theirs.
Paudie Cummiskey had a great game up front, Cormac McAvoy played an impressive role at midfield and Damian McCann excelled working hard all over the field, winning ball, astute passing and of course taking his points. The final score was 0-18 to0 1-8.

B Team

The B team were in form again on Wednesday night and had a runaway victory against Tír na nÓg. Action this week is a home game with Killeavey.

U 14

The U14’s were defeated in their final league match against Forkhill on Tuesday night last. Despite missing a number of players Silverbridge performed well against a strong Forkhill team and produced an excellent second half performance without getting the important goal that was needed.  There were good performances on the night from Brian Murphy, Bernard Garvey and Connor McArdle. That ends this season although there will be the U14 Blitz in the Bridge later on.
