Annual Tramps Ball

We had a terrific time at last Saturday night’s Tramps and fancy dress ball.  This event is as popular now as it was in times past and Saturday night proved Silverbridge is the venue for Hollowe’en. Those who came to admire the costumes and try to guess the person behind the masks and the many, many who dressed up all agreed it was a night to remember. Congratulation to all who took part and especially the winners:
1:  Black I Pod Man
2:  Man in Yellow Vest
3:  Saddam
3:  Little Bo Peep and her Sheep that was no longer Lost.

Ladies Football

Sliabh Gullion Climb

The sponsored climb of Sliabh Gullion, led and supervised by an experienced climber, to raise money for the Ladies Player Injury Fund takes place next Sunday (weather permitting) from Chambreys at 11 am.  The bus will leave the club at 10-30 am.  All are welcome to take part but primary school children must be accompanied by an adult. Parents and friends are encouraged to come along. Sponsorship cards can be obtained from Brian Traynor or Kieran Murphy.
Climbers are requested to bring a backpack with water and a packed lunch. It is better to wear layers of clothing rather than a single heavy garment. Tracksuit bottoms are preferable to jeans. Heavy runners or boots and a waterproof jacket are also recommended. Finally a woolly hat and gloves should ensure maximum enjoyment for all.
Girls are reminded the Club Dinner dance is on 16th November in the Park Inn. Senior girls are encouraged to attend to celebrate a great season of ladies football in the club.
