Silverbridge Harps is Scór na nÓg County Club of the Year.
Our Scór na nÓg participants had a very successful competition in the County Final on Sunday, which coincidently was held in the Resource Centre; winning three county titles and being named as County Club of the Year.Megan Burns won the Solo Singing section and Clare Conlon was best in the Recitation section. The Quiz team of Deirbhile Murphy, Emma McGahon and Megan Burns took the County title and have the distinction of being the first girls’ team to do so. All in all this was a very successful weekend and great credit must go to all the young competitors who represented the Bridge and made such a wonderful impression on the judges. Well done everyone.
The next step is the Ulster semi-final and this will be held next Saturday in the Resource Centre at 7-30 pm. Please come along and support the youngsters and experience a good night’s entertainment. As a large crowd is expected stewards will be needed and any help will be gratefully received.
