Senior Team
Our senior team travelled to Portadown on Saturday last hoping to record a victory, however this did not happen. Portadown opened the scoring and went two points up before Liam Campbell got our first score a point from a free. Niall Reel added a further point before Tir Na Og struck with a goal after a defensive error on our behalf. They added a further two points before half time whilst Campbell and McCann added further points to the bridge tally to leave us two behind at the interval. This was not good enough as McGarvey had dominated the midfield area throughout the first half. As the second half progressed Silverbridge equalised and went two points ahead before the home side struck a purple patch scoring two goals and a point. Silverbridge introduced a few subs to no avail as Tir Na Og ran out five point winners on the score line of 3-7 to 0-11.B Team
Silverbridge B Team struck back from their defeat of the previous week against St Michaels with a good but hard earned win over theCrossmaglen on Wednesday night last. Silverbridge led by one single point at half-time. The introduction of J Burns for the second half changed things around and the visitors won a bigger share of the ball in midfield. Jarlath ruled supreme and inspired those around him to go on and record a five point victory. Jarlath himself scoring one goal and two points. Our B Team this coming week play Killeavey in the first round of the Championship.Minor Team
The minors played Dromintee Monday evening last in Keeley Park. This was a game between two evenly match sides and although the Bridge lead the whole way through a goal in the last minute sealed the win for Dromintee by two points. This was a good team performance and the boys were unlucky not to get a share of the points.

The home defence was under pressure the most of the first half but held their own. They came in leading 5-03 to 0-03 at half time. The second half started much the same as the first and the bridge kept there noses in front with an early second half goal, it was a great team performance all round, and they eventually ended up convincing winners with a final score line of Silverbridge 7-07 Sarsfields 2-05. Well done girls. Keep it up.Under 16 Girls
