Seniors

Due to a heavy days rain on Saturday referee Jimmy McKee deemed the Cullyhanna Pitch unplayable for our Championship Semi Final against Culloville. The game is re-fixed for the same venue next Saturday at 4pm.

 

X Factor

Auditions are now up on You Tube – Just go into You Tube and type in ‘Silverbridge De X Factor’ to get a glimpse of the marvelous talent that will be competing for the title on Saturday 1st November. Tickets for the final are now available and can be had from any contestant or committee member.

 

Gala Dinner

Preparations are now well under way for the Gala Dinner on Friday 7th November in The Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan. It promises to be a fabulous night in the history of the club. A small group of dedicated people are putting together a presentation to be screened on the night. They are seeking any old photos (or videos) of teams or events from the past to include in the presentation. Anyone who might have some thing of use please contact Deirdre Murphy on 07759319463 or Aidan McGarvey on 07840448984. Now is the chance to put together a presentation of all of the photographic history of the club. It is also intended to include messages from club members abroad in the presentation, so if anyone has a relative abroad who would like to be included please contact either of the above or any committee member.

 

Christmas Party Night

The Christmas Party for Family Groups and small firms will be held in The Resource Centre on Friday 19th December. Full sit down dinner and then dancing to John Glenn all for 30 per head. This event is filling up rapidly so early booking is recommended.

 

Christmas Fayre

The annual Christmas Fayre will take place on Friday 14th November in the Resource Centre. Anyone wishing to take a stall please contact Marian Murphy at 30861045.

 

Badminton Club

Silverbridge Juvenile Badminton Club runs sessions in the Resource Centre at the following times.

Monday 6.30 to 7.30 ages 7-10/beginners, Monday 7.30 to 8.45 ages 11 to 15. Saturday 2pm to 3pm ages 7-10/beginners and Saturday 3pm to 4.15 ages 11 to 15. Please attend the age group/standard Cost £1 or 1.50 plus membership. The adult club continues every Wednesday from 9pm to 11pm. Any queries contact Margaret Hughes Tel 30868822.

 

Christy Moore Concert

Tickets for Christy Moore’s Concert on Saturday 8th November are now on sale and can be obtained in The Resource Centre Tuesday and Thursday nights from 8-10pm.

Meetings

There will be a meeting of the Resource centre committee on Wednesday night at 9pm and on Thursday night the Gala Committee will meet at 9pm.

Lotto

Last weeks Jackpot was not won numbers drawn were 15, 20, 26 28, Bonus 8 next weeks Jackpot stands at £14,200.

 

 Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service

N.I. Blood Transfusion Service will be visiting the resource centre on Thursday 9th October from 2.15pm to 4.00 pm and 5.15 pm to 8.00 pm. If you could spare half an hour that’s all it takes and you could be saving someone’s life.

 

Jigs & Reels

Videos of Jigs and Reels are now available in the Merchandise Shop in the Resource

Centre opening times Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 11-12 noon.

 

Halloween Ball on Saturday 25th October.

 

Circuit training

There will be no circuit training on Thursday night due to blood transfusion taking place in the bowls room.
