Gaelic Start

Gaelic Go Start resumes again on Sunday 12 July as usual. Once again we would urge that everyone is there for 10.45 and as many parents as possible are available to help look after the activity stations. These activities are well worth pursuing as they help to build children's confidence and ability which is improving from week to week. Please bring along some drinks and appropriate clothes for the weather.

U 14 Feile Peil Na nOg 2009

The Under 14's took part in the Feile Peil Na nOg in Kildare at the weekend. They won their first two games against St Kevins and Castledermot, however were beaten by Dunboyne in the last game. The lads played great football over the weekend and showed great determination and dedication. They are a credit to their managers and their club. It was a very enjoyable weekend and will be a memorable one for all those who took part in the games. It is also a credit to the parents who organised fund raising to help make it all possible to everyone who travelled to Kildare to support the boys.

Sympathy

The club would like to express its sympathy to Ollie Reel Drumill and to Martin, John and Ollie on the recent death of his brother and uncle John in England RIP.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Pat Traynor Cornonagh who was presented with a beautiful plaque on Tuesday night in recognition of his years service on the County Board. This is indeed a great honour for Pat and the club would like to take this opportunity to thank him also for representing it throughout all those years and for looking after its best interests at County level.
