Senior Team

Silverbridge 0-7 Maghery 3-7

The Seniors played Maghery in the Bridge on Friday night in extremely bad conditions. They played well in the first half and despite conceding a goal to Maghery they were a point ahead at half time. However, they found it difficult to get the ball past midfield in the second half and only managed to score one point. With Maghery scoring two more goals well into the latter stages of the second half the Bridge were unable to close the gap.

Team: B Cumiskey, C Reel, P Hughes, A Mallie, C Lambe, S Murphy , B Bellew, R Hamill, A Hearty, P Cumiskey, C McAvoy , B Burns (0-1), L Campbell (0-4), R Griffin, and E Burns (0-2). Subs used: N Quinn and N Treanor.

They now meet Newtownhamilton in the next round of the Championship on Sunday 9 August time and venue to be confirmed.

Congratulations

Congratulations to the Armagh Minor team who made their way to the All Ireland Semi Final on Saturday. This is indeed a great achievement for all the lads but especially for our own Bridge men Peter Carragher and manager Paul Mc Shane. We are all extremely proud of you both and we wish you the very best of luck in the next big game.

Gaelic Start

Gaelic Go Start continues on Sundays as usual. There is a great turnout of parents and children and once again we would urge that everyone is there for 10.45 to help look after the activity stations.
