The Senior team travelled to Armagh on Saturday evening to meet Armagh Harps. They played well against a Harps team who fielded their county players and despite a goal from Damian Mc Cann and a goal and five points from Ciaran Conlon the Bridge were not strong enough to conquer the Harps outfit. Again it must be emphasised that full attendance at training is crucial for the next few remaining games.
Youth Club
The youth club is due to reopen in September again for the young people of our club and from surrounding areas. The youth club is a terrific social outlet for young people particularly during the winter months. However due to lack of youth club leaders and volunteers, we are now in a position that it may not be possible to reopen. We are looking for youth club leaders who are available and committed to working with the young people one night a week on a number of sports and recreational activities including soccer, basketball, uni-hoc, arts and crafts, cookery etc. We also need a group of volunteers who are available once or twice a month to help supervise. Anybody interested in becoming a youth club leader or volunteer are asked to please contact Mairead Kelly 0864028372 or Lizzy Smyth 07816343842.
If we have No Help We will have No Youth Club!
