Armagh Minor All Ireland Champions
Congratulations and well done to the Armagh Minor team and their manager Paul Mc Shane on their impressive win over Mayo in the All Ireland Minor Final. A special mention must go to our own Peter Carragher and to the other South Armagh players, Robbie Tasker, Niall Rowland, Ronan Finnegan, James Morgan, Eugene Mc Verry, Kealan Downey, Conor King and James Donnelly who together with their other team players have given the county a team to be proud of and something to look forward to in the future. Credit must also be given to their mentors from the local clubs who helped bring these young men to this historic occassion and to all their family and friends who supported them all the way to victory.
Armagh Minor All Ireland Team Home Coming
It is a great privilege for Silverbridge to host the homecoming of the All Ireland Minor Team on Monday 21 September at 7.00pm. This will be a chance for you all to come out and welcome home a great bunch of lads and thank them for their committment and dedication shown by them all.
A list of those who are stewarding is on display on the Resource Centre Door. If you are unable to help please contact Kieran Murphy asap.
Under 14 "Back to School Disco"
With everyone settled back into school again the Under 14's are organising a "Back to School Disco" on Friday 25 September in the Resource Centre. The disco is strictly for 11 to 14 year olds and will run from 8.30 to 11.30pm. Admission is £5.00.
Under 8's
The Under 8s travelled to The Sean McGenity Tournament at Dromintee on Sat 19th and showed great ability and character winning 3 games out of 4 to reach the semi final and to then defeat the host team by a slim margin in what was an enthralling game played by both teams. The Bridge and Clann Eireann battled it out in the final of the Tournament with the Bridge coming out 2nd best but not for the want of trying. Being one of the last 2 teams on the field, playing 6 games in total shows the true character of these young athletes not just on the day but all season. Well done Boys and Girls. Training next Sunday 27/09/09 11.00am dress accordingly for the weather.
We would like to thank to Dromintee for hosting the tournament and for making it such a great day for everyone.
Under 16 Boys
Training for the all 2009/2010 players takes place on Friday night at 7.15pm sharp.
Resource Centre
Youth Club resumes on 22 September.
Bowls continues on Tuesday nights from 9-11pm. All new members welcome.
"Big Fight" Nite
Plans are underway to hold a boxing night on Saturday 28 November in the Resource Centre. Participants will undergo a strenuous training programme in preparation for this event. If you would like to take part or have any queries please contact Owen Reel or Gene Martin for further details.
Peter Keeley Tournament
The Peter Keeley 7 aside tournament will take place on Saturday 10 October. Help will be needed on the day so if you have some free time and would like to help please give your name to any committee member.

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The number drawn were 2, 16, 21 and 30 and the bonus number was 5. There were 4 match 3 winners each receiving £50. Club Merchandise/Christmas Club
The Christmas Club is now open and orders are being taken for tracksuits. If you wish to order a tracksuit please contact Marie or Collette in the shop on Tuesday nights until 9pm. A deposit of 20% will secure any item. If you have ordered a tracksuit for Christmas these must be paid in full by 31 October.
Walking Track
Please note that the closing time for the Walking Track is 10.30pm.
