Annual Dinner Dance

The Annual Dinner Dance will take place in the Resource Centre on Saturday 7 November. Entertainment will be provided by "Town and Country" and special presentations will be made on the night. Tickets are available from any Committee member.

 

Tommy Markham Cup

The Tommy Markham Cup will be in the club on Saturday night everyone is welcome to come along and avail of this opportunity to take photos etc.

Congratulations

Belated Congratulations to Gavin Rowland, Aaron Duffy, James Meegan and Ciara Largey who were on the St Joseph Irish Quiz Team who recently fought off stiff competition in the schools quiz. Well done!

Executive Meeting

The next Executive Meeting takes place on Wednesday 28 October at 9.00pm.

Halloween Disco

There will be a Fancy Dress Halloween Disco on Friday 30 October in the Resource Centre for everyone Under 14 years, 8.30 to 11.00pm.

Gaelic Go Start

Gaelic Go Start continues on Sunday mornings. Parents are urged to be there at 10am to help set up for a 10.45 start and to enable children to be teamed with a suitable partner to help make the circuit more enjoyable. This is a well worth while activity and is more geared towards 4-8 year olds. Please remember to take a drink along for your child.

Resource Centre

Circuit Training takes place on Monday and Thursday nights 7.30 to 8.30pm.

Yoga for Men

Yoga for Men is starting on Tuesday 27 October at 9.00pm in the Resource Centre. If you are interested in coming along please contact Michael on 07831 176584 for further details. Please bring an exercise mat.

Tae Kwon Do

Classes take place on Saturdays 3-4pm in the Resource Centre. Adult classes are available on request. For more details contact Cathal on 086 05473712.

Lotto Results

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The number drawn were 1, 5, 20 and 30 and the bonus number was 8. There were 6 match 3 winners each receiving £35 or E52.50. To play online please visit our website

Tramps Ball

The Tramps Ball proved to be a great success as always on Saturday night. There was a lot of thought and imagination put in by everyone who took part in the fancy dress. Cartoon characters stole the night with Chucky claiming first prize with the Flintstone Family coming second and the Scarecrow in third. The beautiful Pamela Anderson claimed fourth prize and the Swine Flu was last but not least. A great night was had by all and the organisers would like to thank everyone who took part and made the effort.

Club Merchandise/Christmas Club

The Christmas Club is now open and orders are being taken for tracksuits. If you wish to order a tracksuit please contact Marie or Collette in the shop on Tuesday nights until 9pm. A deposit of 20% will secure any item. If you have ordered a tracksuit for Christmas these must be paid in full by 31 October.

Walking Track

Please note that the closing time for the Walking Track is 10.30pm.

Cards and darts continue on Saturday nights for Christmas hampers, turkeys, hams etc. in the wee bar.
