Senior Football
The Senior football panel are remaining in Division Two and will play Middletown in the First Round of the Intermediary Championship. More details later.
Under 21’s Football
The Under 21’s will play Shane O’Neill’s in the preliminary on Home ground in their first fixture. Dates etc, to be confirmed. Again, more details later.
Scor Na Nog Ulster Final Winners
On behalf of the Executive Committee and Club Members we wish to extend our heartiest congratulations to the Four Acts who participated in the Ulster Finals in Galbally, Co Tyrone on Saturday night past and who won four Ulster Titles. They are now through to the All Ireland Finals to be held in Athlone on Saturday 20th February 2010. Gaelic Go Start
Gaelic Go Start resumes on Sunday 24th January 2010 @ 10.00am until 10.45am. All help would be greatly appreciated. It is essential that all children are wearing the appropriate footwear that is necessary to participate. And parents please make sure the children have a drink with them.
Ladies Football Training
A Circuit Training session will take place on Wednesday 20th January in the Bowls Room @ 9.00pm sharp. All past, present and new comers are welcome. Look forward to seeing you there.
Resource Centre
The Circuit Training will continue each Monday and Thursday evenings, between the hours of 7.30pm and 8.30pm up in the Bowls Room; Looking forward to seeing you all.
Tae Kwon Do
The Tae Kwon Do Classes will continue on Saturday afternoon @ 2.30pm. See you all there.
Special Congratulations
The Executive Committee and Club Members wish to congratulate Paul McKeever who won Young Scientist of the Year. Paul is the Son of Proud Parents Gerard & Angela McKeever, Murray’s Road Drumbally. Well done Paul.
Club Membership
Membership Officer, Micksey Toal will be renewing annual membership on Thursday night 21st January in the wee bar between 9.00pm and 10.00pm.
Lotto Draw Results
The Lotto draw numbers were 4, 10, 13, 27 and the lucky number was 6.The next Lotto Draw will take place on 18th January 2010.
NOTE: All lotto tickets to be returned to the club on Monday nights at 8.30pm sharp.
Sympathy
On behalf of the Executive Committee and Members of our club, we wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Bernie Muckian and Family on the death of her father, Dr John McCormick who sadly died this week. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this sorrowful time.
Glasses Found
A Pair of Reading Glasses were found following the Battle of the Ballads night on 27th December 2009. The Owner can collect them in the Wee Bar, Silverbridge Harps.
