SILVERBRIDGE HARPS GAC NOTES
23rd February 2010
Scor Na Nog Final
Silverbridge Scór na nÓg team and mentors, plus over 100 supporters travelled, as Ulster Champions to Athlone at the weekend, in search of an All Ireland title. Unfortunately, despite outstanding performances by all of the Ulster teams the All Ireland titles went to other provinces. However the Silverbridge GAC is extremely proud of their young competitors and wishes them well in the future, as they have already entered the history books by setting a new record in Ulster, in having Four acts from One Club in an All Ireland Final of Scór na nÓg, as stated by Feargal Mac Aoidh, Rúnaí Coiste Scór Uladh. He went on to say that everyone that stands on the stage at the All Ireland is a winner and leader in their own right, and in the process they are doing a tremendous service to our Irish identity.
