Silverbridge Harps GAC Development Draw
On Friday night past, the Silverbridge Harps GAC launched the start of their Development Fundraiser. The Draw is to take place on 17th March 2011 in the Club rooms. The First Prize is £100,000, with the Second Prize being £5,000 and five £1,000 Prizes to be won. The tickets are £20 each or three tickets for £40. This is a massive push to raise much needed funds and all Club Members are invited to contact any of the Executive Committee and give their names as ticket sellers.
Field Notice
Please note that the Pitch is for Club Use Only, until further notice.
Under 16’s Girls Football
Training will be held on Monday 22nd March 2010 @ 7.00pm. Appropriate footwear, clothing and a drink is essential. See you all there.
Under 12’s Girls Football
Under 12 Girls Training will continue on Wednesday 24th March 2010. Again, appropriate footwear, clothing and a drink essential.
Under 12’s Boys Training
Under 12 Training for Boys is @ 3.00pm on Saturday 27th March 2010 and will be held outside. Could Parents please ensure that the Boys are wearing the suitable footwear and bring their own water.
Under 10’s Boys Training
Under 10’s Boys Training will continue on Sunday 28th March 2010 @ 11.00am in the Field. Appropriate clothing and footwear is essential; and please take a drink.
Gaelic Go Start
Gaelic Go Start continues on Sunday 28th March 2010. Setting up @ 10.15am for commencement at 10.45am and all help is appreciated. Each child MUST be signed in and
accompanied by a Parent/Guardian throughout the activities so there is a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. Adequate footwear and a drink are essential.
Underage Players Guide
We would ask all Parents presented with the “Information for Parents” booklet handed out at Registration night, to read this booklet together with their Children as same sets out the “Code of Conduct & Responsibilities & Child Protection Policy”. If you haven’t got this literature, please ask the trainers for a copy. Only one per household required.
Bus Drivers Required
Anyone with the appropriate Bus Driving License who would like to help out by driving the Club Mini bus for Matches, etc, please contact Louise Murphy on 0872325720.
Easter Sunday Night
One Vision will be providing the Music for Song and Dance in the Wee Bar on Easter Sunday Night starting @ 9.00pm. So, come along and enjoy a good nights entertainment and craic.
Scor Na Nog Night
A great night of celebration to honour the Junior Scor na Nog competitors was held on Friday night past. All ten were each awarded large inscribed Cavan crystal vases to commemorate their tremendous achievements. See elsewhere in the paper for full coverage and photos. Gaeltacht
Scholarship Awards
A total of 29 Gaeltacht Scholarships were awarded to the Youth of our Club on Friday night past. The Brendan Donaghy Scholarships were presented to each of the 29 young members by Tom Daly, President of the Ulster Council. Congratulations to you all.
The Club Merchandise Shop
Now that the Training season is underway, the Shop will be open every Tuesday night from 7.00pm to 9.00pm for your purchases of all Club merchandise. All Managers who wish to purchase the Training Kits must complete an Order Form in the Shop so as to ensure the Suppliers forward the goods required.
Club Membership
Renewal for Club Membership has now closed. Lotto Draw Results
The Lotto draw numbers were 2, 3, 11, 12, and the bonus number was 6.
The next Lotto Draw will take place on Monday 22nd March 2010.
NOTE: All lotto tickets to be returned to the club on Monday nights at 8.30pm sharp.

The Circuit Training will continue each Monday and Thursday evenings, between the hours of 7.30pm and 8.30pm up in the Bowls Room.
Social Events Meeting
A Meeting is being held on Wednesday 24th March @ 9.00pm in the Wee Bar. All those involved, please come along.
Ladies Night
To celebrate the start of the May Bank Holiday, the Silverbridge Harps GAC is holding a Ladies Night on Saturday 1st May 2010 @ 8.30pm in the Social Club. Lively Entertainment is promised with Music & Dance on the night and Spot Prizes to be won. A light buffet is also being served. Dress Casual and all ages are welcome. Strictly Ladies only; please keep a close eye on these notes for more information. Proceeds in aid of Women’s Aid.
Sympathy
The Executive Committee and Club Members would like to extend their sincerest sympathy to Monica Greene and the Donaghy family Tullydonnell on the death of Noel who was buried in Glassdrummond recently. RIP.
Tae Kwon Do
The Tae Kwon Do Classes will continue on Saturday afternoon @ 2.30pm. See you all there.
