Silverbridge travelled to Eire Og pitch on Friday past for the 7.15pm throw-in. The boys got off to the better start getting the first score to settle the nerves but Tones quickly equalised. It was point for point for the majority of the first half with the Tones finishing the stronger and going in a point up at half time. They also started the 2nd half pretty much the same way they finished the 1st and where 4 points up with 10min to go. At times in during the 2nd half the boys where taking the wrong decisions and at times no one could understand the referees decisions. But the boys dug deep and got the all important goal which gave them the lift they needed and the confidence to play the football everyone knows they can. They kept attacking and putting the pressure on their opposition and with a minute to go in injury time they went in front and held there lead to win the game.
