It is with great regret that sadly our lads who were by far the better team lost out in the Semi-Final Championship by 3 points to Sarsfields on Saturday evening last. The half time score was even with Silverbridge 1-06 to Sarsfields 0-09. Having displayed some fine attacking football throughout, and with only 8 minutes to go with our lads leading by 7 points, our lads were beaten by 3 points. The final score was Silverbridge 2-11 to Sarsfields 2-14. Heads up lads, there’s always next year. We wish to take this opportunity to thank the Managers and Coaches for their great leadership and commitment in mentoring our lads to this level and look forward to 2011 with this bunch of men intact. That’s football for you.

Gaelic Go Start
Gaelic Go Start continues on Sunday 5th September 2010. Setting up starts @ 10.15am for commencement @ 10.45am. Each Child must be signed in and accompanied by a Parent/Guardian throughout for a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. Weather permitting, please bring adequate clothing & footwear. Please also take a drink, though no fizzy drinks allowed.

The Lotto draw numbers were 2, 14, 20 & 32 and the bonus number was 8. The next Lotto Draw will take place on Monday 30th August 2010. NOTE: All lotto tickets to be returned to the club on Monday nights at 8.30pm sharp.

Condolences
