Football

Ladies (Silverbridge 2-13; Pearse Ógs 1-3)

Another resounding win for the ladies this time against Pearse Ógs. The ladies are in top form at present, making the most of every scoring opportunity, keeping the defence tight and the ball moving swiftly in the right direction. Well done to the entire squad

U16 ladies – training as usual - new members always welcome.

Seniors: (Silverbridge 3-10; Keady 1-08) On Sunday last the Seniors played at home to Keady. The blustery conditions certainly didn’t impact on the score sheet with both sides scoring well.  A great result and a great team performance.

On Sunday 1st May the Seniors travelled to Clann Eireann in very different conditions. The fine, sunny weather was favourable to both teams but despite a good team effort, we lost out by just two points.

Fixtures: Sun 15th  May away to Madden.

Minors – On Bank Holiday Monday the Minors played a tough match against a very strong Keady team. The defence overall was very effective for the entire game, however, the forwards, despite some good displays, were not always as consistent . Despite putting in a good performance overall, the ‘bridge just couldn’t match the challenge thrown at them by Keady.

TEAM: L Burns, C McKeown, P Hearty, G Mines, C Mulholland, S Kelly, S McLoughlin, B Murphy, F Carragher, C Cunningham, C Quinn, C McArdle, F Burns, G Reel, M Hearty SUB:  G Rowland
