LADIES Seniors – League (Silverbridge 2-8; Keady 2-6) The ladies have been busy over the past few weeks. On Wednesday 22nd June they came up against a very strong Keady side in the League. From start to finish this encounter was very physical and very tactical. Particularly close marking by the Keady ladies seriously hampered the ‘bridge’s opportunities to score and by half time the ‘bridge found itself 3 points behind. Undaunted by the challenging position they found themselves in, the ‘bridge came out in the second half clearly determined to meet their match. They continued to defend and tackle with grit and determination and got a well deserved win in the end. On Saturday 25th June they played Eire Óg giving another really strong performance. Some great football and a great team spirit (Silverbridge 4-16; Eire Óg 3-8) So far the ladies are unbeaten in the League.– well done to everyone!. Take note that they play Mullabrack in the Championship in Keeley Park on Saturday 30th July. We look forward to seeing lots of support on that date. Training as usual

U16 ladies – Last Thursday 30th June, the U16 Ladies played Whitecross in the Championship. Really great performances and commitment from everyone and a great win. There were key contributions from Leanne Coleman, Megan Sheridan & Kelly Martin who absolutely never gave up their pursuit of a victory for the ‘bridge ladies. Training Monday @7pm. If anyone is interested in joining any of the ladies teams please see contact details below

SENIORS  - (Silverbridge 2-14: Tir na nÓg 2-8)  last Sunday the seniors had an early kick off in Tir na nÓg’s grounds in Portadown and produced a good all round  performance. Played in glorious weather conditions, an early goal from Brendan Byrne settled our forwards into the match. The opening quarter of the game was tit for tat but some good play from our boys and another goal this time from Damian McCann left us winning at half time by double scores (2-8; 1-4). The second half was point for point with some good scores taken from both teams. Good performances on the day from Stephan Murphy, Cormac McAvoy and Ciaran Campbell and a great team effort. FIXTURES: at home to Clann Eireann on Wed 6th July; away to Keady on Sunday 24th July
