Thanks as always to the continued support of mentors and parents. Under 8 – training as usualUnder 10 – The U10's were busy with two games during the week. The first game was a tough match away to Dromintee on Sunday 28th August past. Dromintee started well and were leading at half time, however the players kunckled down and fought hard in the second half to achieve a draw at the final whistle. On Thursday evening the team played Cullaville at home. This was the third time that both sides have met this year with Cullaville improving immensely since the last match, and taking the Silverbridge team by surprise. After a slow start in the first 20 minutes, Silverbridge began to win some ball in the midfield area and pressed forward to rack up some scores on the score board. A great team effort all round. Due to the return of players to school there will be no midweek training, however training and matches will continue on Sunday mornings until further notice.
