FOOTBALL Under 21 - No luck in the first round of the Championship against Madden last Saturday. The match was played on a windy afternoon with wet conditions underfoot.  Fielding a very young team Silverbridge tried very hard and the sides were evenly matched until a Madden goal put the home side 3 points in front. Silverbridge fought hard in the second half but were unable to reduce the deficit and Madden held on to win. This young team had many players playing at this level for the first time and showed great potential for the future. Many many thanks to everyone for their efforts and continued commitment

This year has excelled itself in effort and originality and made the choices for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place extremely difficult. In the end Jackie Bradley & Bernie McBirney  won the judges over with their matching outfits, with Lizzie Smyth & Majella Reel a close second and Zorro coming 3rd. (See Photo)
