Silverbridge Harps GAC enter the new era of technology with the launch of our web site to help promote our club, our role in the community and the contribution we make to the community.

For those of you not familiar with the area, Silverbridge is a postal area straddling the corners of three parishes in the heart of rural South Armagh.

I am proud to serve as chairman of this club as it has been one of the leading clubs in the county, and indeed in the province, in terms of provision of facilities for its members.

Whether you are a local resident, a former resident now in a far away place or just a casual visitor, we hope you enjoy a browse through our site and that you find it interesting and informative.

The club has come a long way since it was reformed in 1953 thanks to the efforts of many down through the years. The club is still developing with the recent purchase of additional playing area, and with much to do in the coming years your support in any way is greatly appreciated.

Our aim is to provide a centre of sport, culture and social entertainment for our community. If any of our facilities as described in this website appeal to you please contact us by pressing the contact button. We welcome all visitors to our centre.

Ar son an chumain, gabhaim buiochas leat aris as ucht an ama ata a chaitheamh agat agus tu ag amharc thart ar an laithrean seo. Ta se de run againn cur leis o am go cheile agus ma ta smaointi no barulacha ar bith agat, bheinn buich diot ach e a chur in iul duinn.

Le gach dea ghui,
Donal Breathnach (Cathaoirleach)
